"In the deep valleys and river bluffs of southeastern Minnesota in the '70s, and in the early days of KLSE public radio, reception of any sort of broadcast signal was, at best, spotty," recalls Kevin Scattum. "I'd been drawn to classical music even as a boy, but it wasn't until I moved to the Twin Cities to attend the University of Minnesota that I was even able to hear it well, much less listen to it seriously."

Tim Ranzetta

In 2018, Tim, the co-founder of Next Gen Personal Finance, thought a podcast would be a great way to meet his goal of having every child take a personal finance course before graduating from high school. He decided to fund the pilot season of the podcast Million Bazillion, and went on to contribute matching funds to inspire others to make season two possible.
